About us

We are an Ibero-American Observatory of Health and Citizenship, composed of researchers, professors and students whose overall goal is issues related to global public health. The IOHC contributes to this vision by providing a multidisciplinary environment that bridges traditional quantitative biological heritage with a qualitative social and political perspective. The observatory is based at the Department of Social Sciences - Center for Applied Sciences and Education - Federal University of Paraiba (CCAE/UFPB) - Brazil and at the Carolina Foundation - Spain, in direct collaboration with the Institute of Iberoamerica and the Center.
